The sweater is not purple, I think the glare off the bedspread is at fault here. I am including the picture because it captures the beautiful drape of this sweater.

This is the closest to the actual color of the sweater. The sweater has a softer color and is less bright and electric looking however.

This sweater is not purple, it it more of a soft aqua blue, but this photo displays the drape of the garment nicely.

First real sweater day of the year- it was a bit below 60 degrees and pretty blustery out. I look a bit sad, but I'm not. I've come to dislike summer and love fall.

The weather is cool, but still warm enough to be comfortable. I get to wear my favorite turtlenecks and sweaters and cords- and my favorite trench coat and tall boots- without having to cover them up with a bulky parka. It's the start of the off-season for travel to most places. Things slow down at work, and I get a bit of breathing room- as well as my hard-earned weeks of vacation.

We were looking at Iceland, but I'm not liking the prices I've seen for hotels, cars, etc. RJ isn't really one for roughing it, and I'm not keen on packaged guided tours. I'm not against spending money and living the good life when I travel- splurging on a once-in-a-lifetime excursion or a grand meal cooked by a world-class chef. I just refuse to spend it on overpriced cars and hotels that have nothing special to offer. Now we're leaning towards Ireland- Belfast in particular- for a specific event. I've been to Ireland before, but never the Northern part. I'll just remember not to read "The Pilot's Wife" again right before I go. ;)

Canadian Goldenrod tends to get a bad rap and gets mistaken for ragweed sometimes. Not that I care- I'm already congested and have puffy eyes and nostrils from a raging sinus infection/cold/all-around generaly miserableness. Yeah.

365 Reject. Weird light and color. The other shot came out better when it was intentionally "under-exposed".
